Deepsworn: Arena Survivors - Privacy Policy
Deepsworn: Arena Survivors ("the game") is a single-player game with online extras: a cloud save, leaderboards, duels, a weekend cup and clans. This page says what the game keeps about you, why, and how to delete it.
What the game keeps
- An account code. The first time you play, the game makes a random 16-letter code on your phone. It is how your save finds you on another phone. Our server stores only a one-way scramble (hash) of it, never the code itself.
- Your game save. Your progress, heroes, gear, gold and gems, records and settings, so they follow you to a new phone. It also records whether you have bought anything with real money and the total spent, which is only used to colour the optional supporter star beside your name.
- Your player name. An automatic name like EmberFox4821, or one you choose. Other players see it on the leaderboards, in duels, in the weekend cup and in clans.
- Scores and results. Your best run on each leaderboard (score, time, difficulty tier and hero), duel results and duel rating, weekend cup entries, and your clan and what you added to its weekly boss.
What the game does not collect
No real name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, advertising ID or device identifiers. There are no ads, and no analytics or tracking tools in the game.
Purchases are handled by Google Play. We never see your card or payment details.
Bug reports are optional. REPORT A BUG opens your own email app with your phone's model and Android version filled in; nothing is sent unless you send the email yourself.
Like any online service, our host may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the server. We do not use them to identify you.
How it is used
Only to run the game: save and restore your progress, show leaderboards, run duels, the cup and clans, and keep scores honest. We do not sell your data, share it with anyone, or use it for advertising.
Where it is kept
On our own small server, hosted by Fly.io in the United States. It travels to and from your phone encrypted (HTTPS), and the server's disk is encrypted.
How long, and how to delete it
Your data is kept while your account exists. To delete it, open OPTIONS in the game and tap DELETE under your account. That removes your save, your player name, your scores, ratings, cup entries and clan membership straight away. Duels you played stay for the other player, with your name replaced by "Deleted player". Server backups that still contain your data expire within 60 days. If you no longer have the game, see how to ask us to delete your account.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
